GRAZE is a browser arcade game operated by Graze Games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game.
This policy covers the GRAZE website and game. It does not cover third-party services we rely on, which have their own policies (listed in section 6).
If you play as a guest: we do not collect any personal information. The game stores a few
values locally in your browser (via localStorage): your settings (sound, haptics,
match length) and your local best score. This never leaves your device.
If you sign in (optional, via Google): we receive and store the following from your Google account, used only to identify you in-game and on leaderboards:
We also store gameplay data tied to your account: your best score, and multiplayer results (games played, wins, losses, ties). Your authentication session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.
We do not collect payment information. We do show ads via Google (Google AdSense / H5 Games Ads) — see the Advertising section below.

Where applicable law (e.g. the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (given when you choose to sign in) and our legitimate interest in operating the game.
GRAZE uses your browser's localStorage for essential functionality: your settings, your local
best score, and (if you sign in) your login session. In addition, our advertising provider
(Google) uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads (see Advertising below). You can
clear local storage any time via your browser settings, and manage ad personalization as described below.
We show ads through Google AdSense / H5 Games Ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and (where you consent) to personalize them. Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), we present a consent choice before personalized ads are shown; you can choose non-personalized ads.
Account and gameplay data are kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and associated stats (see section 8). Local data lives only in your browser until you clear it.
We use these providers to run the game. Data is processed by them only to provide their service to us:

These services may process data outside your country. We rely on their respective safeguards and privacy commitments.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your display name and avatar are visible to other players on public leaderboards and during multiplayer matches — that's the point of those features. Everything else is shared only with the processors in section 6 as needed to run the game, or where required by law.
GRAZE is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
